Terms and Conditions — FlightMode

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the FlightMode mobile application ("the App").
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1) The Service

FlightMode is a mobile application designed to help users focus by simulating airplane flights as Pomodoro-style sessions.

Key features include:

• Starting virtual flights by selecting departure and arrival airports
• Viewing progress and statistics related to focus sessions
• Using maps to visualize airport locations
• Unlocking premium features through in-app purchases managed by RevenueCat

FlightMode does not provide real flight information, real navigation data, or aviation-grade services.

3) No Account System

The App does not require an account, email, password, or login credentials.

All data is stored locally on your device.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.

If you delete the App or reset your device, your data may be permanently lost.

4) Purchases and Subscriptions

Premium features may be offered via in-app purchases and subscriptions processed by:

• Apple App Store
• RevenueCat (for entitlement management)

By making a purchase, you agree to Apple’s and RevenueCat’s respective terms and conditions.

We cannot issue refunds directly.

Refunds must be requested through Apple.

5) User-Generated Content (UGC)

FlightMode does not support uploading or sharing user-generated content.

All your session data and statistics remain stored locally on your device.

6) Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App.

Prohibited actions include:

• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Accessing or using the App in an unlawful or harmful manner
• Interfering with or disrupting App functionality
• Circumventing purchase mechanisms or attempting to unlock paid features illegally
• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to manipulate usage

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms.

7) Intellectual Property

The App, including design, graphics, software, trademarks, branding, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the App or its assets
• Modify or create derivative works
• Use our branding without permission
• Sell, rent, or sublicense any part of the App

8) Third-Party Services

FlightMode uses:

• Apple App Store (purchases and payments)
• RevenueCat (subscription validation and entitlements)
• Apple Maps (map rendering and location features handled on-device)

Your use of these services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

The App does not share any personal data with these services beyond what is strictly necessary for purchases and functionality.

9) Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects
• Statistics or timers will always be accurate
• Map data or airport information will be complete or up to date
• The App will be compatible with all devices or OS versions

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss or lost productivity.
• Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed:
  (a) the total amount you paid for the App or in-app purchases in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) 50 EUR, whichever is greater.

You use the App at your own risk.

11) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights

12) Termination

You may stop using the App at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we decide to discontinue the App.

Upon termination, the following sections survive:

6 (Acceptable Use), 7 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Liability), 11 (Indemnification), and 13 (Governing Law).

14) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Significant changes will be communicated within the App.

Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
