1) Data we collect
FlightMode is designed to collect only the data reasonably necessary to operate the app, manage purchases, improve reliability, and measure the performance of our marketing.
1. No account required
FlightMode does not require:
- Account creation
- Password
- Name or other direct personal identification
2. Flight activity & statistics
To operate FlightMode's core features, the app stores information such as:
- Selected airports of departure and arrival
- Flight duration and focus sessions
- Flight completion history
- Statistics such as total hours flown, number of sessions, and streaks
- App preferences and settings
This information is primarily stored locally on your device.
3. Purchases data
FlightMode uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, and premium access.
RevenueCat may process:
- A pseudonymous RevenueCat user identifier
- Product and purchase information
- Subscription status
- Trial, renewal, and expiration information
- Transaction-related identifiers
FlightMode does not receive your payment card information. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store.
4. Advertising attribution data
FlightMode uses the Meta SDK and RevenueCat to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and understand whether installs, trials, subscriptions, or purchases resulted from advertising.
Depending on your device settings and privacy choices, this may include:
- A Meta / Facebook anonymous identifier
- Apple's Identifier for Vendors (IDFV)
- Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), when you grant App Tracking Transparency permission
- Basic app and device information
- Advertising attribution information
RevenueCat may send subscription and purchase-related events to Meta through Meta's Conversions API for advertising measurement and attribution.
5. Technical data
The app may collect limited technical information such as crash reports and performance diagnostics to help us improve stability and reliability.
2) Purposes of processing
We process data to:
- Allow you to run virtual flights and focus sessions
- Save your flight history and statistics
- Store your preferences
- Validate purchases and subscriptions through RevenueCat
- Improve app stability and reliability
- Measure advertising campaign performance
- Attribute installs, trials, subscriptions, and purchases to advertising campaigns
3) App Tracking Transparency
On supported Apple devices, FlightMode may ask for permission to track under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
If you grant permission, FlightMode may access Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for advertising attribution and measurement.
If you deny permission, FlightMode does not access the IDFA for tracking purposes.
You can change your tracking permission at any time in your iOS privacy settings.
4) Legal bases
Depending on your region, the following legal bases may apply:
- Contract performance: enabling the app's core features and managing purchases
- Legitimate interests: improving app reliability and understanding the effectiveness of our marketing where permitted by law
- Consent: tracking, notifications, and other OS-level permissions where required
You may withdraw permissions directly from your device settings at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information with service providers when necessary to operate the app and measure our advertising.
